Minimum Position Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' proven electrical experience and satisfactory overall performance
  • Knowledge of NEC code
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

  • Commercial electrician experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Drive independently to stores as assigned on a daily basis
  • Perform various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures, including audits
  • Conduct repairs to electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues
  • Handle electrical component repair and replacement
  • Investigate electronic controls interfaces
  • Provide feedback on maintenance best practices to supervisors and management
  • Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory
  • Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) when necessary
  • Safely operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts
  • Clean and upkeep company service vehicles, if assigned
  • Communicate orally with store personnel regarding equipment usage
  • Utilize company email system for communication
  • Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing, and usage documentation promptly
  • Adhere to all department and company policies and procedures
  • Assist other technicians with repairs as needed
  • Provide input on performance reviews
  • Coach, mentor, and train fellow technicians
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, squatting, and working in varying temperatures
