Profile Summary

This is a leadership role accountable for enhancing the current spend optimization program for Biscuits, Bars and Confectionary categories and building the media analytics capabilities, including building a measurement and refinement capability for Precision Marketing.

The role will primarily focus on building an end to end spend optimization capability in real time and ensuring that all media planning and buying is influenced by this team.

This leader will define how marketing performance will be measured, and will evaluate marketing performance against "the bar" of excellence.

Will also support the strategy for the first, second and third party data.

Key responsibilities:
Elevate the Spend Optimization Capability & Impact
Enhance the existing capability for Marketing Mix. Recommend relevant enhancements to the program in line with business needs / requests.

Identify critical gaps and opportunities, and work with the brand leaders and the consumer experience team, to recommend ways to course-correct and optimize tactics in these 'hot-spots'.

Measure Digital Attribution for all digital media.
Evaluate the performance of the overall Advertising and Consumer Promotion investment and recommend changes.
Partner with CX to Build Precision Marketing Capability
Create Audience Targeting and Segmentation by leveraging multiple data sources, behavior and preferences, including the purchasing history of cohorts.

Predictive Modeling:
Predict future consumer behaviors like purchase intent, potential churn rates, lifetime value etc.
Drive Personalization, including tailoring communications to meet specific consumer needs / interests

Customer Journey Mapping:
analyze data at various touchpoints across the customer journey & identify patterns on how customers react.
Build Media Analytics
Lead Learning Agendas in line with business requirements. These involve test & Learns, Pilots, A/B testing, etc.

Partner with the CX team to effectively build the CRM capability, by adopting best practices and undertake relevant test & learns.

Support various pilots on AI and GenAI in relation to media analytics.

Propensity Modeling:
Predict granular pockets of growth (e.g., geographies,

demographic/psychographic

groups) and prioritize based on segment size, propensity to purchase our brands, and ability to reach audiences
Activate pockets of growth by leveraging a test, learn and scale operating model.

Media Data Platforms:
Single platform that brings together Media, Personalization/ Content, Audience and Measurement
Evaluate creative quality and drivers to Creative Excellence by category by undertaking agile experimentation and driving hypothesis driven testing.
Undertake Meta-Analysis of historical data and share key recommendations with the marketing teams and agencies of record.
Create appropriate metrics and lead development of reporting & analytics products and dashboards.

15+ years' experience in Spend Optimization and Media Analytics.
·

Deep knowledge of Market Mix Modeling, spend optimization and media analytics is essential.
·


Demonstrates ability to influence cross-functional and upper management to impact decision-making; Willingness to "have an opinion" backed up by insight and analytics and the confidence to influence key stakeholders in meetings and one to one basis.

·

Outstanding communication skills; Ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate

solutions/conclusions

clearly and concisely; Data analysis and visualization skills are a must.
·


Technical market research and analytical expertise and conversant in a range of quantitative and qualitative ad hoc research techniques and syndicated business analyses, including the role of AI and GenAI in insights.

·

A Bachelor's degree is required; Post-graduate degree or equivalent in Market Research, Social Sciences or Statistics is preferred.
