Responsibilities
  • Provide sales and customer support for specialized products in your assigned area.
  • Assist in coordinating training for vendors and branches.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to enhance overall sales efforts.
  • Build enduring relationships with target customers, engineers, and industry OEMs.
  • Identify product lists for construction projects and synchronize sales activities with other departments.
  • Engage with engineering firms, construction managers, and equipment vendors when necessary.
  • Coordinate vendor activities to secure product approvals and maintain a list of target projects and customers.
  • Address customer complaints and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate the RFQ process and prepare quotations and submittal packages.
  • Review data to ensure product and material compliance with project requirements.
  • Keep management informed with regular check-ins and communicate project progress to relevant personnel.
  • Gather feedback and update Regional/Area Sales Managers on project status.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial wholesale distribution, preferably in the pipe, valve, and fitting industry.
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience.
