About the role:


Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for an Engineering Project Team Leader position located in the Fargo, North Dakota facility.

This Engineering Project Team Leader position is a high visibility leadership position within the Drivetrain group of Caterpillars Remanufacturing Division and reports to the NPI Program Manager.

This Team Leader will be responsible for developing and running a portfolio of Reman NPI projects for drivetrain components across the Caterpillar machine product families.


Job responsibilities will Include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure coverage of product offerings for drivetrain components by working with Reman Aftermarket Sales & Marketing, Industry Segment groups, LPSD Drivetrain, MBDs, Dealer and Customers.
  • Complete engineering technical analysis to understand bill of material, warranty, product offerings, and validation.
  • Work with Business Resources, Reman Product Engineering, and remanufacturing plants (CRDL West Fargo, ND) teams to build and evaluate business cases for product offerings.
  • Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Coordinating resources across the businesses with sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.
  • Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
  • Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.

Additional Information:

Relocation assistance IS available for this role.

The primary location for this role is Fargo, North Dakota but can also be located in Mossville, Illinois.

15-20% will be required for this position.
