ChristianaCare's Outpatient Imaging Department is seeking a dedicated Full-Time CT Technologist to join our team at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, with the possibility of working at various outpatient locations. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform all aspects of CT Scan Testing for in-patients and outpatients based on established procedures and under the guidance of the Radiologist - Conduct additional diagnostic imaging exams as required - Assist with administrative and scheduling tasks when necessary Main Duties: - Demonstrate expertise in operating CT Scanner Units - Complete all assigned imaging procedures efficiently - Confirm insurance pre-authorization before scanning patients - Mentor students and new staff in department procedures and safety practices - Administer contrast media under physician's supervision - Ability to assess patients for adverse reactions or changes in condition - Proficient in using contrast media injectors - Perform i-STAT testing and calculate GFR accurately - Provide appropriate care to patients of all age groups - Ensure work is carried out safely following departmental safety guidelines Requirements: - ARRT registry completion - ARRT CT Scan registry mandatory - State of Delaware Radiation Protection License - Preferably an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology - Must pass the CT Registry exam within 2 years of employment if not certified initially - Experience and education combination may be considered What Christiana Care offers: - Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage - 403 (b) plan with employer contribution - Competitive Paid Time Off policy Christiana Care Health System is an equal opportunity employer that is dedicated to diversity and inclusion.
