**Job Description**

AECOM is currently seeking a well experienced **CEI Senior Project Engineer** to support our local projects within the Orlando, FL region.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department

+ Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments

+ Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering

+ Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches

+ Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization

+ Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field

+ Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience

+ Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

+ Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit

+ Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program

+ Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members

+ Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures

+ Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

+ Valid Drivers License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

+ Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida Ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state

**Preferred Requirements:**

+ FDOT Advanced MOT

+ CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)

+ To be achieved by Project NTP

+ Six years of engineering experience

+ Two of those years involved in relevant transportation projects

+ Master's Degree in Engineering
