Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Material Handler records production receipts into SAP, moves materials to their proper inventory location and supports production by supplying inventory materials as requested.

Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesRetrieve and accurately confirm materials (boxes and pallets) into SAP by using handheld scanner.
Stamp each box and place on correct pallet - for individual box confirmations.

Verify that there are no mixed parts on the pallet prior to stretch wrapping the pallet and prepare pallet label using "Bar Tender" software.

Confirm materials and move to their warehouse locations upon material confirmations - for less than pallet orders.
Prepare pallet label, confirm pre-pallet quantity, and stamp the pallet label - for materials confirm in full pallet quantities.
Shrink wrap and affix the correct pallet label for all the materials be moved to their warehouse locations.

Retrieve component parts and other materials needed in production as requested by Production DepartmentsConduct line clearance of completed production orders and return unused components to their warehouse locations.

Communicate inventory discrepancies to Inventory ManagerRetrieve materials to Quality Assurance Department for quality issues and return good materials back to stock.

Review SAP transaction MB51 daily Keep inventory well organized in the designated by warehouse locations areas.
Operate forklift, other lift trucks and shrink wrapper in accordance with safety standards.
Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized work areas.
Comply with all relevant ISO procedures.
Assist Distribution Center as requested by Management.

Cycle count or recount inventory as requested by the Inventory ManagerPractice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environmentAll other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredSAP experience, preferred.

Minimum 1 year of material handling experience in a fast-paced environment, preferredForklift certification, experience with Raymond, Counter Balance and Turret Lift, preferredSKILLS & ABILITIESExcellent communication skillsOrganizational skillsBasic computer skills needed to accurately enter data for inventory controlEnglish reading skills and basic math (must be able to accurately count and multiply)Attention to detail, preferred.

Flexible with work schedule, including the ability to work overtimeDependable; consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be available to work assigned shifts.
