Job Title: Part-Time Clinical Support Supervisor at Generations at Applewood

Generations at Applewood is currently seeking Part-Time Clinical Support Supervisors for 2nd Shift (3p-11p) or 3rd Shift (11p-7a). If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in a skilled nursing facility, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. Additional hours are available for non-supervisory roles if you prefer full-time.

Hourly Rate: Depending on the benefit package chosen, the rate will range between $42 and $46.


Responsibilities of the RN Clinical Support Supervisor:
  • Competently perform basic nursing skills
  • Provide direct resident care while supervising and directing floor nurses and CNAs
  • Check in with floor nurses at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Assist during emergent situations and changes in residents' conditions
  • Ensure proper execution of physician and NP orders
  • Conduct shift walkarounds and address concerns with the Director of Nursing
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents and families
  • Update care plans accurately
  • Cover open shifts on a rotating basis
  • Complete admission processes in a timely manner
  • Provide in-service training as needed
  • Accept other assigned duties willingly

About Generations at Applewood: Generations at Applewood is a 24/7 skilled nursing facility offering a range of services, including on-site dialysis, respiratory services, IV therapy, Wound Care, Respite and Hospice Care, and Cardiac Rehab.


Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of IL
  • Minimum of one-year nursing experience; supervisory experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to promote and restore Residents' health
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Compliance with professional standards and practices
  • Positive references and a clear criminal background check
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Flexible, collaborative, and cooperative
  • Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Commitment to quality nursing care
