Position Summary:

A boat assembler's role is to assemble and fit together the various components of boats to complete them, including the installation of the motor, rigging, and other parts. They are tasked with assembling the boat's interior, working with and installing 12-volt electrical components, hatches, doors, seating, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. They must guarantee that the boat meets all necessary design specifications and industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to comprehend electrical wiring schematics, work orders, and instructions while maintaining a high level of organization during parts assembly.
  • Operation and upkeep of basic hand and power tools, shaping, mounting, cutting, clamping, and installing various fittings.
  • Capacity to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, eagerness to learn mechanical components and assembly.
  • Work collaboratively in an innovative team setting to deliver the highest quality aluminum boats in the market.
  • Conduct general housekeeping and maintenance in the work area.

Required and Preferred:

  • Consistent attendance is MANDATORY.
  • Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some prior work experience is desirable.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures, detail-oriented, organized, with good communication skills.
  • Capability to work 10-hour shifts and overtime when necessary to meet production deadlines.
  • Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including identifying potential risks and hazards.

Work Environment:

While performing this role, the employee will engage in various physical activities and must be able to handle different tools and materials. The noise level in the manufacturing setting may range from moderate to high.
