Position description
Applications are sought for a full-time, NIH-funded Postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will work on a project in the laboratory of Dr. Alicia Izquierdo in the UCLA Department of Psychology ).
The project involves probing frontal cortex and amygdala in adaptive learning, incorporating in vivo electrophysiological recording or calcium imaging, and novel behavioral, chemogenetic, and computational methods in freely-behaving rats.
- PhD in Neuroscience or Psychology
- Ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
- Desire to conduct cuttingedge behavioral neuroscience research
- Experience in in vivo electrophysiological recording or calcium imaging is required
- Experience in computational modeling is highly desirable, but not required
