Human Resources Generalist

Join our team as a Human Resources Generalist We are looking for an experienced professional who can handle the pace of our busy HR office independently. If you're up for a challenge, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the functions of the Human Resources Office.
  • Carry out policies and procedures of the Company and HR.
  • Recruit, interview, and select applicants for vacant positions.
  • Onboard new hires efficiently using HRIS systems.
  • Maintain coworkers' records for reporting purposes.
  • Conduct orientation and training classes to improve associate retention.
  • Handle benefits, compensation, and performance appraisal reviews.
  • Complete scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll procedures accurately.
  • Address employee relations concerns with support from Corporate office.
  • Assume Senior Staff responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of Human Resources Generalist experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and Timekeeping systems.
  • Available to work varied days and hours, including weekends.
