Overview

The Mayo Civic Center's Food and Beverage Department will be holding Job Fair on Wednesday June 5th and Thursday June 6th from 10:am - 5:30pm.

We will be hiring for a variety of on-call and part-time roles on our Food & Beverage Team. Please come out and join us on June 5th & 6th to interview and learn more about Oak View Group and The Mayo Civic Center. All positions require the ability to work weekdays and weekends, with availability for some morning, noon, and evening shifts on an on-call/event based schedule.

For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).

Responsibilities

We will be interviewing candidates for the following on-call/part-time positions at the varied pay rates:

Servers $15 – $17/hr

Cooks $19.50 – $22.50/hr

Dishwashers $16 - $18/hr

Bartenders $15/hr + tips

Cashiers $15/hr + tips

Concessions Workers $15/hr + tips

F&B Supervisor $19 – $22.50/hr

Catering Sales Manager Full-Time Salaried $60k - $65k/yr

  • All positions require the ability to work weekdays and weekends, with availability for some mornings, noon, and evenings shifts on an on-call/event based schedule.
  • Must be able to provide a written availbility on a regular and consistent basis to management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
  • For part - time/ on call roles: Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
  • Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to life and move heavy objects, such as boxes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
