Your Role:

As a Data Engineer within the Investments Data, BI & Analytics Technology team at Janus Henderson, your primary responsibility will involve developing, managing, and optimizing data pipelines in our ecosystem. By utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Azure, you will enhance our data capabilities to support investment decisions and front office stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines using ETL and ELT processes
  • Utilize Snowflake for data storage, processing, and analytics
  • Develop scripts in Python and SQL to automate data processes
  • Leverage Azure cloud-native technologies for data infrastructure
  • Collaborate with data analysts and BI developers to enhance data accuracy and relevance
  • Stay updated on industry trends in cloud and data technologies
  • Follow established data standards and procedures

Skills Required:
  • Data pipeline construction and data warehousing experience
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Python, SQL, and cloud-native ETL/ELT tools
  • Expertise in finance industry data domains
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cloud computing
  • Ability to work with geographically disperse teams
