About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will oversee the development, management, and success of our raised access flooring product lines. This position requires a strategic thinker who understands market trends, customer requirements, and product lifecycle management, emphasizing sustainability and effective vendor relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Product Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with company objectives and market needs.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competition.
    • Establish product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities with a sustainable focus.
  • Product Development and Management:
    • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring successful and timely releases.
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility, quality, and sustainability.
  • Market Analysis and Customer Insights:
    • Collect and analyze customer feedback, sales data, and industry trends to guide product decisions.
    • Prioritize product features by gathering input from customers, sales representatives, and market trends.
    • Monitor and assess product performance, providing improvement recommendations.
  • Sales and Marketing Support:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
    • Offer product training and assistance to sales teams and key stakeholders.
    • Create compelling product messaging and positioning for enhanced market adoption.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage vendor relationships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality and sustainable materials.
    • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address quality or supply chain issues promptly.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and oversee product budgets to align with financial objectives.
    • Analyze product profitability and make data-driven decisions to optimize the product portfolio.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).

Additional Expectation

  • Remain aware of individual contributions and impacts on quality, safety, environment, and product compliance, reporting all issues promptly.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing product lifecycles and launching new products.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Focus on sustainability and vendor management experience highly valued.
