The Opportunity:


Saint Luke's Bishop Spencer Place is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for
PRN positions in our 57-bed skilled nursing and rehab unit.

We offer superior pay rates, interesting work, and a variety of flexible assignments. We are centrally located between Westport and the Plaza.

The Work:
Our LPN's provide direct patient care and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by CNA's

Specific duties include:
Providing professional nursing services and medication to patients. Ensuring patients receive services in accordance with their care plan.
Overseeing the activity of assigned nursing assistants.
Assisting with new admissions and discharges.
Consulting with patients, family members, and physicians in planning the patient's care, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Visiting patients to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
Notifying the patient's attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in condition.
Reporting problem areas to the RN Supervisor or Clinical Director.
Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

A successful candidate for this position will be licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri.

Shift Details:
This is a
PRN position working 12-hour shifts. Other positions, including those with flexible hours, may be available.
