Asset Manager - Warwick (Hybrid) - £43,250 to £54,859

National Gas are navigating through an exciting time as we evolve to meet net-zero targets for 2050.

Building our Asset Management Plan (AMP) will put you at the forefront of evolving the UK's gas infrastructure to meet these targets.

As an Asset Manager, you'll support the development of National Gas' 10 year rolling Asset Management Plan.

You'll translate high-level requirements into robust asset management plans to enable the net-zero energy transition, particularly in the hydrogen space where we're looking to define the future needs for existing assets.


You'll be a strategic thinker, having the ability to see the 'big picture' and support efficient investment decisions and optimising how we spend consumers money efficiently.

You'll be a strong collaborator, enabling you to build relationships and bring stakeholders together, and also be a clear communicator so you can clearly articulate and justify investment decisions.


You'll need to have a technical or engineering background as you'll need to be able to interpret technical information from engineers across the business.

Strong stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

It'll also be ideal for you to have knowledge and experience in some of the following:
An understanding of gas transmission plant and equipment.
Asset management tools, risk quantification and management.
Investment and business case development (CBA & Engineering Justification).
Whole life cost analysis.
Planning coordination of project and investment activity.
Copperleaf C55 system knowledge.
