As the Director of Medical Operations, you will spearhead clinical teams, focusing on service delivery, driving essential business metrics, supporting clinicians, and expanding our core business. Your responsibilities will include implementing strategies, nurturing relationships internally and externally across markets, ensuring top-notch patient care and satisfaction, and optimizing employer experience. You will oversee clinical management at all sites within your area of responsibility, spending 80% of your time at these locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality and patient safety through the execution of a clinical model across markets and service lines
  • Manage key clinical and financial metrics, holding clinicians accountable for performance
  • Coach clinical outcomes and provide support in outlier cases
  • Maintain clinical proficiencies and support EMR/PM systems
  • Participate in risk management activities
  • Drive patient and client satisfaction metrics
  • Mentor clinicians on service delivery
  • Collaborate with therapy and operations teams for optimal support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, payers, and referral sources
  • Mentor and coach clinicians on various aspects of their roles
  • Lead and promote collaboration across disciplines for successful outcomes
  • Develop strategies and new processes to drive growth
  • Manage clinical staffing and personnel costs effectively
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Occupational Medicine or a Primary Care specialty
  • Current unrestricted medical license and DEA license as required
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Experience:
  • Minimum five years of applicable experience, including supervisory roles
  • Preferred experience in managed care and occupational/preventive medicine
  • Experience in developing and leading medical quality improvement programs
  • Familiarity with worker's compensation laws and risk management processes
Skills/Competencies:
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in handling sensitive information
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices
  • Ability to supervise and develop staff
