Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Tech for a travel opportunity in Weston, FL. Are you passionate about cardiovascular surgery and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment? This is your chance to make a difference

The Role:

You'll play a vital role in the operating room, assisting surgeons with a variety of cardiovascular procedures. Your expertise will ensure a sterile environment, maintain equipment functionty, and prepare instruments for optimal surgical outcomes. Be prepared for both scheduled and emergency cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your CVT or CST certification to assist surgeons during cardiovascular and other surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries and ensure proper instrument function.
  • Anticipate surgical needs, prepare instruments, and monitor patient vitals.
  • Participate in patient care throughout the perioperative period and document procedures accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and communicate clearly with all members.
  • Participate in cardiac call as needed, adhering to the established call schedule.

Qufications:

  • Vd CVT or CST certification
  • Minimum 2 year'sof experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting
  • Strong aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance skills
  • Excellent instrument handling, preparation, and knowledge
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • Active BLS Certification and NBSTSA/NCCT certification
  • Ability to participate in a cardiac call schedule (details discussed in interview)
