Job Title: Resident Coordinator - Interfaith's Family Shelter Program

SHIFT: SUNDAY-THURSDAY 11:30AM-8PM

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain a safe and secure living environment for clients
• Acclimate new clients to their living arrangements; assist with client intakes and exits
• Educate clients of program policies and procedures; enforce them
• Monitor client affairs and help resolve any issues
• Notify supervisor of problematic client behaviors or compliance issues
• Assign chores to clients, oversee completion, and ensure safety standards
• Assess for any drug/alcohol consumption and inform appropriate staff
• Review log book daily and update next shift of any notable issues
• Accurately record emergencies and events during shift
• Report medical emergencies and administer First Aid/CPR as necessary
• Perform wellness checks on residents as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Work with other Resident Coordinators for community cohesiveness
• Ensure properties meet inspection standards
• Coordinate utilities checks, fire drills, and other inspections/repairs as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Knowledge of alcohol and other drug recovery field preferred
• Experience with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and homeless populations preferred
• Experience with families (both conventional and unconventional)
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
