Prairie Meadows Slot Technician Position

Shift: 4pm-12am

Days Off:
- Thursday/Friday

Salary: $17/hour (with the possibility of earning between $20.00-$22.00/hour including tips)

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and conversion of Casino games
  • Troubleshooting and repair of games and associated systems
  • Preventative maintenance of slot machines, signage, and related equipment
  • Assistance with jackpot verifications
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of gaming systems
  • Adhering to all departmental and Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission procedures

Requirements:
Prospective candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the gaming industry is advantageous. Essential skills include proficiency in math, effective communication, and a positive demeanor with strong business etiquette. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, withstand some smoke exposure, and lift weights up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally is essential.
