ResponsibilitiesApply specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of assessment,diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders, conditions and addictions.+ Administer and interpret tests and measure of psychosocial functioning for the purpose of diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities.+ Develop and implement appropriate assessment-based treatment plans.+ Consult with team managers, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with the patient's treatment plan.+ Provide crisis-oriented psychotherapy as well as short-term and long-term psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment.+ Document patient therapy in accordance with both federal and state regulations.
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Approved Local Exception preferred. Drivers License preferred. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and rofessional Regulation preferred. Certified Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred. Certified Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree in Social Work required
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred. Previous experience in an acute setting preferred.
