Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Company: UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown
Job Schedule: Full-time, 36 hrs/week, Night Shift 7pm-7am, Every 3rd Weekend, Holiday Rotation

UnityPoint Health is embarking on a new care delivery model, the Collaborative Care Model (CCM), that allows all team members to practice at the top of their scope. As an LPN, you will work closely with an RN and the care team to deliver patient-centered care, manage medications, provide education, and complete necessary procedures.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and reliable patient-centered care under RN supervision
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Document daily progress and goals
  • Conduct patient education and discharge instructions
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient assessments

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited LPN program

- Current LPN licensure in Iowa or compact state

- Proficiency in English language

- Basic nursing skills and equipment operation knowledge

- Strong communication skills

- Compliance with legal and professional standards

- Successful completion of EMR training

- Commitment to patient and workplace safety
