SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

The Senior Integration Architect will have a crucial role in designing, testing, and deploying Integration solutions, including API gateway implementation.

Specializing in interface configuration, monitoring, and customization of various data exchange interfaces, this position will collaborate with the technical team to configure and map information data feeds to and from various organizations and systems to create cutting-edge integration solutions.

This role reports to the VP of Enterprise Architect.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide technology integration assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for multiple technology domains.
  • Lead projects within Integration.
  • Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release integration solutions.
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new technologies.
  • Manage the development of integrations using Lean methodology.
  • Liaise with offshore teams and clients to resolve technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Provide architectural guidance to teams building integration solutions.
  • Establish common standards, practices, and capabilities across teams.
  • Provide proficient troubleshooting to resolve incidents with minimal business disruption.
  • Participate in technical training programs to support business units with integration needs.
  • Manage data analysis and integration of disparate systems.
  • Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across different data stores.
  • Familiarity with Integration tools like Mulesoft, Akana, Boomi, or SoftwareAG preferred.
  • Create, design, and develop data models.
  • Contribute technical metadata to the metadata repository.
  • Working knowledge of ERD diagrams preferred.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Good understanding of API-Management concepts.
  • Five years of banking experience.
  • Three years of integration experience.
  • One year as a technical lead for API Management integration projects.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles.
  • Experience with programming languages for API development.
  • Experience in developing RAML based RESTful APIs and WSDL based SOAP web services.
  • Knowledge of security protocols including Basic, WS-security, SAML, and OAuth2.
  • Experience in XML technologies like XML, XSLT, XML Schema (XSD).
  • Experience with JEE Application Servers and Containers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of project ownership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Three years of experience as a data analyst desired.
  • Two years of experience using Tableau desired.
  • Ability to multitask.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Integration

  1. Collaborate with business units to analyze integration needs and design appropriate specifications.
  2. Ensure integration results are accurate and meet business units' requirements.

Documentation

  1. Document integration specifications in adherence to template standards.
  2. Modify and test customer documents.

Audit

  1. Conduct annual reviews to ensure compliance with user security, solution relevance, and change control procedures.

User Support

  1. Provide exceptional service to business units; resolve requests and inquiries effectively through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Leadership

  1. Act as a resource and liaison between business units and vendors, offering guidance to other analysts.
  2. Demonstrate effective leadership skills and serve as a role model to department employees.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office equipment operation.
  • Keyboard dexterity.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to travel.
