CUSTODIAN JOB OPENING AT BOCES WEB Complex

General Description:
Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and in good shape? If so, we have an opportunity for you at BOCES WEB Complex. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for routine building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors
- Cleaning walls, windows, and blackboards
- Maintaining lavatories and locker rooms
- Performing minor repairs to furniture and equipment
- Grounds keeping tasks like mowing lawns and removing snow
- Assisting in operating heating systems
- Receiving and storing school supplies
- Arranging furniture for events
- Running errands and other custodial tasks

Requirements:
- Knowledge of building cleaning practices and equipment
- Ability to make minor repairs
- Good physical condition
- One year of relevant experience OR completion of a vocational program OR equivalent combination of experience and training
- Valid NYS Driver's License

Salary:
$43,680.00 plus benefits and PTO per CSEA contract
