We are currently seeking Civil Engineering II professionals to join our team in New York, NY at AECOM Technical Services, Inc. Your role will involve designing storm water drainage systems, roads, highways, and other key infrastructures. Take part in climate resiliency and flood behavior analysis while leading design elements for engineering works. Job Responsibilities:

  • Design storm water drainage systems, roads, highways, and other infrastructures using modeling software.
  • Perform specific portions of engineering assignments.
  • Gather and correlate civil engineering data efficiently.
  • Work on engineering assignments and propose solutions to new problems.
  • Provide guidance and mentor entry-level engineers.
  • Lead civil drainage and alignment design.
  • Conduct flood analysis and modeling.
  • Work on projects independently and collaborate effectively.
  • Ensure all work is completed within budget and schedule.
  • Perform necessary tasks to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
  • May have the opportunity to telecommute.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  2. 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling, and storm water management design.
  4. Skilled in site development, grading, and flood analysis.
  5. Ability to review technical reports and drawings.
  6. Strong knowledge of interdisciplinary coordination.
  7. Experience in sediment and erosion control design.
  8. Familiarity with storm water pollution protection and water quality design.

Offered Compensation:

Salaries range from $126K to $162,390.59 depending on location and qualifications.
