Shipping & Logistics Coordinator


Marlyn Nutraceuticals is solution-focused, privately held nutraceutical company formulating, developing, and manufacturing science-based, natural dietary supplement formulas since our humble beginnings in 1948.

Our specialties are innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective natural remedies for everyday health issues such as immune system support.

We are currently looking for an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

This position will be responsible for effectively facilitating the shipping of customer orders and managing the timely flow of order processing.


Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to shipping/receiving and regulatorycompliance procedures.
  • Utilize EDI, customer portals and other thirdparty software to manage customer purchase orders.
  • Open sales orders and create invoices.
  • Quote and book domestic and international shipments.
  • Build loads for shipping in the most costeffective way.
  • Schedule pick up for all deliveries with 3rd party carriers including Fed Ex.
  • Work with internal and external departments on scheduling shipments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare shipping documents and labels using computerbased technology.
  • Record shipment data such as weights, charges, and damages.
  • Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and issue shipping instructions and delivery of goods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in Freight Logistics, Warehousing, or Transportation utilizing FedEx and UPS.
  • Must have experience using National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) codes.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English. Spanish a plus.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must have good math skills.
  • Ability to use customer portals and EDI systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word.
