Alderson Loop is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team for an exciting project with a diversified media company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing and optimizing the existing ServiceNow platform, with a focus on implementation, IT Operations Management (ITOM), Service Management, and Reporting. This role requires extensive experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, particularly with the ServiceNow Portal and Asset Management module. Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Optimization and Enhancement:

• Assess the current ServiceNow implementation and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize ServiceNow performance and efficiency.

IT Operations Management (ITOM):

• Enhance ITOM functionalities to improve monitoring, discovery, and service mapping.
• Design and implement workflows to automate IT operations processes.

Service Management:

• Refine and expand service management capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Customize and enhance the ServiceNow Portal to improve user experience and self-service options.
• Implement workflows to streamline service request and incident management processes.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Develop and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Utilize ServiceNow's reporting tools to provide insights and actionable intelligence.

Asset Management:

• Manage and optimize the ServiceNow Asset Management module to track and control IT assets.
• Implement best practices for asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.

Workflow Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement efficient workflows to automate key business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure workflows align with business needs.

ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro (Bonus):

• Utilize HAM Pro to enhance hardware asset management capabilities.
• Leverage SAM Pro to manage software assets and ensure compliance and optimization.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow SME or similar role.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM, Service Management, and Reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow Portal and workflows.
• Solid experience with the ServiceNow Asset Management module.
• Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro is a strong bonus.
