About the Position:

The Readiness Solution Suite (RS2) Product Owner (PO) is responsible for the managing and optimizing the product backlog in one or more web applications in a suite of software products that applications that operationalize & modernize CECOM SEC's business practices and supports CSISR software readiness.

Responsibilities The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for requirements analysis, decomposition and/or user story definition necessary to support design of the software for complex and modern software development web applications.

Responsible for owning, managing, grooming, and translating customer/stakeholder product vision into actionable tasks for software development. Serve as primary stakeholder representative to product stakeholders and customers. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in scrum, agile practices and iterative development and tooling.

Responsible for briefing at all levels of leadership, engaging with customers both new and existing to troubleshoot existing product and to generate new business.

Serve as liaison to leadership teams, budget teams, technical teams providing recommended guidance on product requirements and resources to development teams.

Responsible for the management, upkeep and accuracy of existing, future, and interconnecting business process and data associated with their product of responsibility.

AND In addition to the competencies listed above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-02/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Leading one or more scrum teams operating in large Scale Scrum ( LeSS) pushing to the same main line of production code; 2) serving as a Readiness Solution Suite Product Owner managing the product backlog in one or more web applications; AND 3) Facilitating working groups and/or user sessions to groom product backlog, define user stories or technical needs into requirements.

Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11/NH-02).

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
