Description

  • Identify cargo in barge set for cleaning
  • Determine transfer location based on cargo type and amount
  • Test tanks for vapor toxicity and LELs
  • Inspect and clean barge to customer specifications
  • Prepare facility for loading/discharging liquid petroleum cargoes
  • Monitors transfer and documentation
  • Acquire and fill out required paperwork
  • Operate vapor recovery equipment
  • Perform gauging, sampling, and firefighting duties
  • Maintain and repair transfer equipment
  • Perform janitorial duties
  • Drive company vehicle and make deliveries
  • Monitor and ensure security of the cleaning facility
  • Adhere to safety and company policies
  • Carry out additional responsibilities and requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
  • Basic verbal and writing skills
  • Valid Texas driver's license

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, climbing, lifting, bending, and balancing tasks
  • Operating valves, turning nuts/bolts, and ladder climbing
  • Wearing required PPE and working in various environmental conditions
