Location: Philadelphia, PA
The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is on the lookout for qualified individuals interested in joining as Associate or Full Professors in the academic clinician track within the Department of Radiology.
Applicants should hold an M.D. or equivalent degree and ideally be certified by the American Board of Radiology with specialized training in MSK Radiology.
Responsibilities will revolve around teaching, including clinical supervision and guidance of residents and fellows, along with active participation in interdisciplinary conferences with other clinical specialties.
Teaching medical students will focus on those rotating through specific medical centers affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate should excel in education and is expected to take on a leadership role in the Musculoskeletal Imaging division.
Clinical duties will involve providing services in various clinical areas such as PF, CT, MRI, arthrograms, and joint aspirations. Proficiency in diagnostic MSK US and image-guided tumor biopsies is also required. Participation in the Musculoskeletal Imaging on-call program covering evenings, nights, and weekends is anticipated.
The position includes serving at multiple medical centers and outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania.
