Front Counter Associate

Position Overview:

We're seeking a Front Counter Associate to join our team at Big Mike's Rentals. In this role, you'll be the friendly face behind our counter, assisting customers with their equipment rental needs, providing expert advice, and driving sales. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance: Greet customers with a smile and provide personalized assistance with their equipment repair inquiries and purchases.

Rental Processing: Process rental transactions, including accurately entering rental agreements into the system, verifying customer information, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Equipment Demonstration: Provide demonstrations and instruction on how to safety operate rented equipment to customers, ensuring they understand proper usage and maintenance procedures.

Sales Generation: Actively promote products and services to customers, upselling and cross-selling as appropriate to meet sales targets.

Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery of products and services.

Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, including rental equipment, to effectively advise customers, answer their questions, and provide guidance upon equipment return.

Inventory Management: Maintain organized and well-stocked shelves, assisting with inventory counts and replenishment as needed.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly and professionally.

Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter area.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and be over 21 years old to meet insurance requirements for occasional errands and deliveries.

Pre-Employment Drug Screen: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.

Sales Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Detail-Oriented: Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
