Summary

This role is situated within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Program Management Organization, En Route & Oceanic Second Level Engineering Group, System Support Team, Systems Logistics Support Sub Team. The Program Management Organization's primary focus is to execute the air traffic programs of the Federal Aviation Administration efficiently, ensuring they meet deadlines, are cost-effective, and align with the set scope.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this position will handle various tasks under limited direction, such as monitoring contract performance and schedules, giving guidance on contract-related policies, and working across different departments within ATO. This role directly impacts the achievement of the FAA's strategic objectives.

  • Working closely with the project lead during procurement planning and source selection phases.
  • Ensuring contract compliance and resolving any related issues.
  • Reviewing and approving/rejecting contractor invoices.
  • Serving as a point of contact for the PMO on program-related contract matters.
  • Tracking labor, expenditure reports, funding breakdowns, and contract modifications.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with policies and practices.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must showcase a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G / FG/GS-10/11, specifically in working with contracts for a large organization, which includes tasks like reviewing contract invoices, developing procurement request packages, and ensuring contract compliance.
