Position Summary: Walmart Specialty Pharmacy is a unique business unit specialized in the delivery of low/limited distributed pharmaceuticals to patients across the United States and Puerto Rico. As a Supervisor, Pharmacy Technician at our Specialty Pharmacy department in Orlando, Florida, you'll be part of a team managing and distributing critical medicines to patients with challenging illnesses, engaging with customers, patients, and medical practitioners nationwide.

Schedule:

  • Must be available to work between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday (Possibly one Saturday a month).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Holds an active/valid national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT).
  • 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • 2 Years of experience in customer service-related duties
  • Knowledge about Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Email etiquette

Job Description:

  • Resolves medication and insurance issues by processing insurance rejection claims; calling customers and physicians to relay issues and concerns; calling insurance carriers to resolve rejections; coordinating insurance billing; and collaborating with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Manages reports by creating and distributing reports; monitoring logs; and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Coordinates job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

This is a rewarding position with an hourly wage range of $15.63-$26.68. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and other benefits.
