Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation is seeking an
EHS Supervisor.
This position will be located at the Charleston, TN
manufacturing site.
  • The EHS Supervisor position fills a critical role in the successful development and execution of the plant's safety and security programs.

    This role implements and maintains EHS procedures and programs in accordance with corporate and division policies and procedures to meet company's business requirements, minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


EHS Supervisor Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and Emergency Response expertise and coaching to facilitate broad accountability of the EHS&S process.
  • Prepares reports in accordance with the company policies and submits by required deadlines.
  • Provides Emergency Response training and develops Emergency Response team on site.
  • Collaborates with employees and supervisors to identify and correct potential health, safety, and emergency response hazards and develop corrective measures and drive actions to completion and sustainment.
  • Investigates major accidents or problem areas and recommends future preventive measures.

EHS Supervisor Position Requirements:

  • Must meet one of the following experience and education requirements:
  • High school diploma plus 15+ years of relevant safety, emergency response, or related technical experience; OR
  • Associate's degree in a related discipline plus 5+ years of relevant safety, emergency response, or related technical experience
  • Ability to offer guidance on Health, Safety, and Emergency Response issues with strong US regulatory/compliance experience.
  • Must have emergency response, first aid, or fire safety experience.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and meet the physical requirements including, but not limited to, climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
