Manufacturing Process Engineer

  • Ensuring Success: This challenging position involves overseeing the manufacturing and assembly of CPIs Lubrication & Wear products at Chart Industries. The main focus is on ensuring that the products meet quality, design, and safety standards for their intended use. The ideal candidate will help foster a problem-solving culture by implementing Lean methodologies and will work on both new and existing product lines.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop new tooling and processes to enhance safety and meet business requirements.
  • Create or update BoMs, Engineering Drawings, and Work Instructions as needed.
  • Streamline existing processes using Lean principles to reduce waste and lead times.
  • Utilize data to solve complex process issues through root cause analysis and effective solutions implementation.
  • Contribute to capital investment and continuous improvement projects that deliver value to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products and processes.

Your Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.


Your Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering machining and assembly of mechanical products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills and a passion for process enhancement.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Preferred: Problem-solving methodologies knowledge, Lean/Six-Sigma certification, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Working experience with inspection techniques, tooling, and manufacturing processes optimization.
