What You'll Contribute

The Associate, Tax will assist in the management of tax compliance, planning, and strategy for the company.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the management of the company's tax compliance, planning, and strategy efforts.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance and legal, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance.
  • Assist with due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with tax technology and software preferred.
Preferred education, skills, and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in tax, with a focus on compliance and planning
