Look no further Spears Innovative Tool, a division of Spears Manufacturing, a renowned company in Sylmar California specializing in plastic valves, fittings, and pipes, is hiring for both experienced and entry-level positions.

Being a national company with numerous plants and distribution centers across the country, this is a chance to grow your career with us. Located in Camarillo, our Injection Mold Tool facility is where you'll work on creating new plastic injection molds and maintaining existing tooling in a top-notch Machine Shop.

Requirements:

  • Machinists with a solid Injection Mold background/knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Capability to work independently
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting Tool Drawings/Blueprints
  • Knowledge of holding close tolerances and understanding cutting tool principles
  • Experience in programming and operating Hurco mills, Fadal mills, or Romi lathes with Fanuc control. Knowledge in 3D mill M/CAM is a plus
  • Experience with Conventional Mill/Lathe/Surface Grinder/Drill/Saw/EDM is preferred but not mandatory - training can be provided

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of all manufacturing tools and be able to work with close tolerance parts using various tools like ID & OD Mics, Depth Mics, Jo Blocks, Indicators, Calipers, and Hand Tools. Having your own tools is a plus

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Proficiency in geometry & trigonometry for inspecting parts
  • Dependable and focused individuals who are eager for growth
  • Prior experience in the field is valued
  • CNC Machinists should be capable of programming CNC equipment
  • Adaptability to changes as we are not a production facility

Education Requirements:

High School graduate
