Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and providing essential services to residential and commercial areas? As a Front-End Driver, you will play a crucial role in removing and transporting waste or recyclables from multi-family residential and commercial routes as per customer contracts.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial frontload or ancillary equipment to collect solid waste along designated routes
  • Interact with customers and the general public to address inquiries and notify management of any issues
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and submit reports
  • Ensure clean and safe customer sites by handling loose trash during the dumping process
  • Utilize maps and GPS to locate service addresses efficiently
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures for truck operation
  • Monitor operations to detect any debris and maintain cleanliness
  • Follow all safety regulations and guidelines for vehicle operation
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary
  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum one year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate
  • Demonstrate safe driving and equipment operation skills
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and seek improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Follow oral and written instructions accurately
  • Ability to exert physical effort when needed
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and loud environments

Mental and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, talk, hear, climb, and balance
  • Visual requirements for close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
  • Ability to lift and move objects of varying weights
  • Ability to enter and exit the truck multiple times during a shift
  • Ability to work in loud conditions and drive for extended periods

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to loud noise, weather conditions, moving parts, chemicals, and traffic
  • Outdoor work environment throughout the day
  • Occasional work in high places and continuous exposure to motor vehicle traffic
