Under the guidance of the Facility Supervisor, the Zamboni Driver is responsible for maintaining a quality ice surface through scheduled resurfacings and other assigned ice maintenance at the Bloomington Ice Garden. The Zamboni Driver is responsible for the cleanliness of locker rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, bleachers and hallways, as well as other assigned areas.

**This is a part-time, year-round position.

8-20 hours per week** Primary Objective Examples of Duties

Responsible for maintaining ice rink, locker rooms, bleachers and areas surrounding as assigned by the Supervisor.

Maintain facility schedule by following posted resurfacing times.

Perform cleaning whenever needed to maintain the facility and its surroundings in a clean and respectable condition.

Work as a team member to ensure that the entire building is cleaned, stocked and ready for the next day's operation.

Communicate with supervisor and other staff members any concerns and/or needs of the building and its equipment.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff and supervisors.

Provide customer service, share information and solve issues with the general public.

Complete all other duties as assigned by the Facility Supervisor, or other full-time arena employees.

Shovel and salt sidewalks and exits to maintain safe entrance and egress.

Assist in the closing of the building as needed.

Minimum/Desirable Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to follow written and oral direction.

Ability to work nights and weekends.

Ability to work in cold air and outdoor environments.

**Desirable Qualifications**

Experience operating ice resurfacing equipment.

Experience sharpening skates.

Supplemental Information

Starting Wage $ $14.70 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

(8-24 hours per week, depending on game schedule)

When we provide our Services to our Customers, the Customer generally controls and manages the personal data, and we process personal data as a data processor or service provider. Our legal obligations as a processor and service provider are set out in our Customer contracts and policies.

For instance, if you apply to a job or your employer utilizes our Services to manage their relationship with you, the personal data collected about you is generally controlled by the employer (our Customer).
