Tower Technician (Industrial Access)

Industrial Access is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Tower Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction or a related field.

As a Tower Technician, you will be responsible for industrial construction projects, focusing on smoke stacks, chimneys, and boilers.

This position requires 100% travel out of state, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of industrial structures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Industrial Construction: Execute construction, maintenance, and repair work on industrial smoke stacks, chimneys, and boilers, adhering to project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Tower Climbing: Safely and efficiently climb and work at significant heights on industrial structures, utilizing industry-approved safety equipment and techniques.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various specialized tools, machinery, and equipment required for industrial construction projects.
• Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of industrial structures to identify any damages, deterioration, or potential safety risks.
• Repairs and Upgrades: Perform necessary repairs and upgrades to ensure the longevity and structural integrity of industrial smoke stacks, chimneys, and boilers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of work activities, including completed tasks, observations, and required reports.
• Travel: Travel to project sites located out of state, and be prepared for extended periods away from home.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and fellow technicians to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction or a related field, with tower climbing experience being highly desirable.
• Certifications: Valid Tower Climbing and Rescue Certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Physical Fitness: Excellent physical condition to meet the demands of climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
• Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety protocols and best practices in industrial construction environments.
