Description:

InterAct's Pass It On team plays a crucial role in supporting victims of domestic and/or sexual violence, as well as the community, by offering high-quality women's clothing, shoes, and accessories at affordable prices. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and promoting safety and support, the Part-Time Retail Sales Associate contributes to the mission of saving and rebuilding lives while securing safer futures.


  • Manage store opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Utilize computer systems for point of sale transactions.
  • Handle daily cash receipts and banking duties accurately.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports for operational review.
  • Assist donors, organizations, and vendors with contributions.
  • Implement proper procedures for managing donations.
  • Organize, clean, price, and arrange merchandise effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with staff on donation processing for programs.
  • Support Store Manager in sales promotions and planning.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with annual inventory tasks and reporting.
  • Address any concerns and cooperate with various departments.
  • Contribute to store sales and promotional activities.
  • Provide guidance to store volunteers during shifts.
  • Complete mandatory training sessions upon hire.
  • Participate in educational programs and meetings as directed.
  • Perform other operational tasks as assigned.

  • Demonstrate dedication to promoting violence-free relationships.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is beneficial.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and positive client experiences.
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to commute between Fuquay-Varina and Raleigh locations.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements: High School diploma. Valid driver's license. Successful completion of background check and adherence to COVID guidelines.
