Team Leader Position at Plastipak

The Team Leader is responsible for providing supervision, training, and guidance to team members on an assigned shift. This includes technicians, machine operators, and utility workers. The role involves communicating expectations in areas such as production, safety, quality, housekeeping, documentation, and team interaction, as well as managing the performance of assigned team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and adjust machine settings, perform repairs, and maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance requirements and product specifications
  • Maintain quality control standards and cleanliness in work areas
  • Attend training sessions and lead team meetings

Requirements:

  • Flexible to work different shifts and overtime as needed
  • Associate's Degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Minimum three years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastic manufacturing
  • Experience in on-the-job training and task guidance
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
