1 year - ask manager approval for any candidate that has previous hospital experience but has not worked in the hospital setting within the last year.

medical diagnosis except Cardiac could be seen on this unitTraveler will routinely work on either Grant 5 or Grant 6 (same level of care spread across 2 separate units)

Common diagnoses include but are not limited to:
Stroke, COPD, Respiratory issues, GI Bleed, Renal Failure (AKI/CKD), Oncology, Electrolyte imbalance, altered mental status, weakness, non-operable fracturesOncology/Neutropenic patientsNon-surgical unit

Patient Ratios:
RN: Days 1:4-5; Nights 1:5-6May vary based on patient acuity, tech support, insulin drips within assignment, etc

CNA:
Days 1:8; Nights 1:10Rarely, due to call-in, nurses may have total care of some less acute patients within their assignments Required
