About This Opportunity

As a Risk Analyst I, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day activities of the risk management team while learning Enterprise Risk Management objectives. This entry-level position will assist with implementing risk assessments, policy governance requirements, risk management documentation, and vendor risk management tasks.

This is a career building opportunity for an Analyst to gain knowledge and experience in multiple areas and grow within the Audit and Risk team.

This is a remote opportunity with the in-person option to sit in either the Atlanta, GA or St. Petersburg, FL office.

Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day tasks within the risk management team while learning risk management objectives.
  • Support corporate enterprise risk initiatives and risk assessment processes.
  • Assist team members with data gathering efforts for various projects.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of departmental reports, procedures, metrics, etc.
  • Help to maintain Risk Team responsibilities (i.e., risk register, frameworks, controls) within Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC) system.
  • Perform follow-up efforts for risk mitigation documentation.
  • Communicate the status of identified risks and remediation efforts to management.
  • Monitor progress against deadlines including timely and proactive communication to management of roadblocks, accomplishments, and status.
  • Perform related Audit and Risk team duties as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Great teamwork and client service skills.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work on eastern standard time zone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field
  • 1-2 years of working experience in program management, audit, risk management, accounting, regulatory compliance, or related.
  • ISACA, IIA, or similar certification (or working toward certification).
