The Opportunity:

Are you excited about developing training through technology to elevate Intelligence Community training? As an instructional designer, you'll utilize your technical abilities, creativity, and expertise in software tools to gather, organize, and distribute instructional content and propose tool solutions that align with and bolster the business requirements, budget, and content creation needs. Building an engaging course that imparts vital tradecraft demands a genuine dedication to grasping your customer's requirements.

Within our team, you'll propose state-of-the-art multimedia technologies and tactics, such as blended learning, to construct a thriving learning setting. Collaborating with subject matter experts and product developers, you will capture your customer's training necessities and recommend the ideal learning approach to help them achieve their goals. Placing the learner at the core of the training journey, you'll craft training content and tools for performance support. Together with curriculum developers and subject matter experts, you'll create training materials following the ADDIE model. Leveraging your technical skills, creativity, and know-how, you will brainstorm innovative concepts to develop an interactive, captivating learning experience either on screen or in a classroom. To ensure your solution hits the target, you'll gather and evaluate outcomes utilizing assessment methodologies like the Kirkpatrick Model, refining your training for optimal impact. This presents an opportunity to leverage your profound understanding of training methodologies to design a stimulating learning encounter that resonates with students. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in learning theory and instructional technologies, creating Instructional Materials, Learning Objectives, and knowledge or performance tests
  • Expertise in generating top-notch, interactive, and efficient learning solutions for classroom, online, or webinar settings
  • Proficiency in delivering or instructing materials
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
  • Proficiency in tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software
  • Experience in technical editing, grammar, and writing
  • Awareness of emerging technologies in computer networking and new hardware and software products for system improvements
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assessing learning technologies
  • Proficiency in ensuring compliance with SCORM, xAPI, Section 508, and learning-related technology standards
  • Familiarity with evaluation models, including Kirkpatrick
  • Understanding of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to back the organization's mission
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Certification in Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design
  • IC Instructor Certification

Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security probe and may have to fulfill qualifications for classified information access; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
