POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This role involves various tasks that support store sales operations such as processing POS transactions, handling merchandise, organizing stock, and maintaining the stockroom efficiently.

Receives, stores, and restocks sales floor items and may assist on the sales floor.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence

  • Processes merchandise, ensuring items are stored correctly and easily accessible for restocking, optimizing stock space as needed.
  • Ensures new products are displayed accurately and promptly.
  • Inputs receiving documents accurately into the system, reconciles merchandise invoices, and completes store-to-store transfers promptly.
  • Manages visual packet materials, props, and signage efficiently, and maintains stockroom hardware neatly.
  • Participates in pricing changes and markdowns.
  • Notifies management of cash supply requirements.
  • Assists with visual directives, floor sets, window changes, and store cleanliness as instructed.
Customer Experience

  • Embraces and promotes excellent service standards, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Ensures a quick and efficient checkout process, staying informed on payment policies, returns, security practices, and other operational procedures.
  • Encourages additional purchases and promotes the rewards program to clients at checkout.
Teamwork and Growth

  • Encourages a collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Actively seeks personal development opportunities and welcomes feedback.
Other duties as assigned.

This role may be across various brands with duties varying accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous stock or cashier experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be comfortable working most of the shift standing
  • Capable of working efficiently within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates teamwork and communicates effectively with customers, associates, and management
  • Experience with visual merchandising and product placement techniques is a plus
  • Regular attendance is crucial; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constant Walking/Standing % of 8-hour shift
  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
  • Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
The salary range for this role is $16.30 to $20.50. Final pay rates will be determined based on individual qualifications and store location.
