JOB SUMMARY
The Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction vehicles and equipment. This position may oversee apprentice workers engaged in vehicle and equipment repair work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Inspect heavy vehicles and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Proficient in CAT ET/ Cummins INSITE/ Volvo Prosis and TechTool.
- Repair heavy construction vehicles and equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, dump trucks, front-end loaders, and more.
- Operate vehicles and equipment to diagnose and ensure operating efficiency.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Supervise apprentice workers engaged in heavy vehicle and equipment repair work.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five (5) years related training and experience required, ten (10) years preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with current medical card preferred.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry and in the arctic environment preferred.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, lodging and food will be provided. Camp facilities offer various amenities including free Wi-Fi, housekeeping, laundry, and more.
