CarShield is currently looking for a talented UX / Web Designer to join its expanding creative IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and enhancement of websites, web applications, and apps to deliver an intuitive, visually pleasing, and user-friendly experience to our clientele. Collaborating closely with various teams, including creatives, developers, marketers, and stakeholders, you will bring our design concepts to fruition.
As supervised by the VP of Operations, the responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing visually attractive and user-friendly front-end websites and web applications utilizing various technologies.
- Producing custom graphics and visual elements for online platforms.
- Ensuring design compliance with accessibility standards.
- Creating prototypes and wireframes to visualize design concepts effectively.
- Implementing UI/UX best practices.
- Translating design mockups into functional applications.
- Optimizing websites for performance and responsiveness across devices.
- Testing and troubleshooting for usability and functionality.
- Collaborating with teams to meet project requirements.
- Integrating front-end components with back-end developers.
- Gathering feedback and incorporating improvements.
- Presenting design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to web applications.
- Completing assigned tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- In-office work required in St. Peters, MO.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX / Web Design.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Wordpress, CSS, HTML, JavaScript.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude and receptive to feedback.
- Portfolio demonstrating work.
