Job Title: Hospitalist Physician at VA Medical Center
Company: Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care in inpatient settings
- Manage patients with ongoing medical conditions in acute care and intensive care
- Conduct interviews, examinations, diagnostic testing, and coordinate patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical personnel
- Collaborate with mid-level providers and offer consultative input
- Participate in Committee Structure and quality assurance programs
- Complete medical records, refer patients, and sign discharge summaries
Work Schedule:
Preferential for Nocturnists with 7x days on/7x days off shifts
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- License to practice medicine in any US State
- Residency training and board certification eligibility
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an approved institution
- Completion of accredited residency training program
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
