Paradise Dynasty is one of the brands under Paradise Group. Paradise Group houses a total of 11 culinary concepts across 9 countries, serving customers at close to 50 restaurants in Singapore and more than 60 restaurants worldwide.
Paradise Dynasty is looking for a Dim Sum Chef to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently for our US location.
Responsibilities:
- Follows recipes for preparing Dim Sum dishes in accordance with ease of preparation, established procedures, and budgetary constraints.
- Plan, prepare and implement high quality food and beverage products and setups in the restaurant.
- Work seamlessly with recipes, standards, and plating guides.
- Organize food production in a cost effective and hygienic manner.
- Participating in other menu planning activities to include the determination of purchasing specifications, product and recipe testing, and menu development.
- Complying with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards; observing proper food preparation and handling techniques
- Keeping work area neat and clean at all times; cleaning and maintaining equipment used in food preparation; reporting necessary equipment repair and maintenance.

- Assist training kitchen employees in designated stations.
- Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience preparing Xiao Long Bao
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
- Experience in Asian Fusion (Chinese) Cuisine Concept experience
- Manages control and use of industrial woks and other common Asian cooking implements, not limited to, woks, fryers, rice cookers, Dim Sum, steamers as well as all common professional cooking equipment found in a kitchen.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in professional knifehandling skills with ability to cut/trim meat or carcasses
- Experience in following and extending standardized recipes
